Overview

The mission of Alabama Orthopaedic Specialists, P.A. (AOS) is to provide a full range of orthopaedic specialty care to our patients and to remain at the forefront of orthopaedic advancements and techniques. We strive to provide each patient with precise, cost-effective and respectful care with the ultimate goal of improving our patients' quality of life.

AOS is a group of 7subspecialized orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to personalized quality patient care. In addition to being highly trained in general orthopaedic surgery, the physicians of AOS have each concentrated on different parts of the musculoskeletal system. We have fellowship-trained specialists in Hand Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Spine Surgery and Total Joint Replacement Surgery. Using state-of-the-art techniques learned in their subspecialty training, our physicians strive to return patients to a fully functional recovery as quickly as possible.

AOS is an integral part of the Jackson Hospital Sports Medicine On-Call program, providing the physician component to the program. This is the only sports medicine program in central Alabama staffed with fellowship trained Sports Medicine physicians. AOS physicians are the team physicians for Huntingdon College, Montgomery City High Schools and many other public and private schools. This is the largest sports medicine network in central Alabama, encompassing 35 different programs.

AOS has added Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for patient convenience. The MRI Department is located adjacent to the main office at 4294 Lomac Steet Montgomery, AL 36106.

AOS has opened our new Physical Therapy department located our main office campus.
